Vlad the Impaler
Join us at Histories Uncharted as we begin our first in a series of spooky and macabre episodes this Halloween season. We begin our tales of terror with none other than the infamous Vlad the Impaler. Vlad became notorious in his own times when he adopted the method of impaling people as his signature form of punishment and execution. He used this brutal form of torture and execution to bring back order and control to a country torn asunder with constant infighting. This atrocious and barbaric display of power was also used as a military tactic to protect him and his fellow countrymen from the seemingly invincible Ottoman empire. Was this ruthless tactic enough to put his country back together and keep it safe from foreign invaders? Join the Histories Uncharted team as we delve into the past to discuss the life of history’s most notorious and bloodthirsty killers.
